FAQ

  1. Do I need to trim my wicks? Yes!  Always trim your wick to 1/4 inch before burning to prevent sooting, and to keep your candle from burning too hot.
  2. How long should I burn my candle?  You should not burn your candle for more than 4 hours.
  3. Can I burn my candle all the way to the bottom?  No.  You should stop burning your candle when there is less than 1/4 to 1/2 inch of wax in the bottom.
  4. Why does the top of my candle get bumpy after I burn it?  It is the nature of soy wax. It varies with different fragrance oils, but it is almost always bumpy after the first burn.
  5. Are there phthalates in Secret Garden Naturals products?  NO! We only use fragrances with no phthalates and that are not on the Prop 65 list of products containing carcinogens.
